BIOGRAPHY OF MR. IDRIS HASSAN DIKKO
DIRECTOR, ECONOMIC SERVICES.

Idris Hassan Dikko was born 4th December, 1958 in Toto town, Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1972 from LEA Primary School, Konton-karfe, and the West African School Certificate from Government Secondary School, Konton-karfe in 1977. He thereafter obtained his 'A' level Certificate between 1978-1980
from School of Preliminary Studies, Keffi. He proceeded to Bayero University in Kano State where he graduated with B.Sc (Hons) Sociology in 1984. His desire for more knowledge led him to obtain his Masters in Public Admin (MPA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in
2009 and had remained intellectually active ever since.

 

CAREER PROGRESSION:

After his undergraduate studies, he did his mandatory service to his fatherland between 1984-1985 as a teacher in GSS Fufore in Gongola State (now Adamawa State), after which he was employed by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) in 1985. His services was later transferred to Ministry of Federal Capital Territory (MFCT) by Federal Civic Service Commision in 1996. He served in various capacities as Administrative/Research Officer in various Ministries, namely, Federal Capital Development Authority-FCDA, Solid Minerals, Interior, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHCSF), Defense, Transport and Power, Works and Housing respectively.

He rose to the rank of Director and had served in that capacity as Director Transport Planning- Ministry of Transport, Director Special Duties, Ministry of Power, Work and Housing and presently Director Economic Services, with Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
